Facial injectables cover a wide range of products, such as, Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen Stimulators, Skin Boosters, Polynucleotides and Botulinum Toxin. They are used for a variety of reasons within medical aesthetics, to provide structural support, restore volume, enhance facial contours, and improve skin function. They can also be used to treat lips and soften folds and wrinkles. At KH Aesthetics we aim to provide a safe and effective treatment for all our patients and only use products with a high clinical safety profile with FDA and/or CE approval.
Your journey at Karen Hunter Aesthetics should be a collaborative process and always begins with a consultation. This is a fundamental process designed to listen to and identify any concerns you may have. It allows a confidential in-depth discussion on what you may perceive is an issue, followed by what realistic expectations and aspirations you have for your desired aesthetic goals.
In order for me to advise on the available treatment options, a full medical history will be taken, including, allergies, current medications, and any previous aesthetic/beauty procedures; a physical examination may also be needed to assess your skin condition or facial structures.
We will then discuss the different treatment options, including pre-treatment advice, expected outcomes, potential risks, recovery time, and any associated costs. Some of the treatments offered at KH Aesthetics include prescription-strength products. As a Nurse Prescriber we may discuss these as treatment options.
Based on my assessment and your goals, we will devise a bespoke treatment plan most appropriate to your needs. At this time, we can discuss any concerns and give you the opportunity to ask questions.
As part of the process, a cooling-off period is recommended to ensure information has been reflected upon, allowing you time to consider all the options for achieving natural looking results. Following this period, you will be contacted to ensure you are happy with the information provided, giving you an opportunity to ask any further questions.
